Hotel Synopsis
Το παρακάτω κείμενο είναι μια πλήρης περιγραφή του νέου, υπό ανάπτυξη ακινήτου, δίνοντας όλες τις λεπτομέρειες σχετικά με την ιστορία του ξενοδοχείου, το concept, τη λειτουργία και τις εμπειρίες που θα προσφέρει στους επισκέπτες του.
The Yard Corfu is a new hotel in Moraitika, Corfu, which aspires to be a new, upgraded accommodation destination on the island — and not unreasonably, since it has every asset needed to truly stand out among the competition.
The property is being built within the settlement, on a spot far from the sea with now view. However, the fact that it is surrounded by an old olive grove, creates a direct connection with nature, and an introverted character that make it more interesting. This is exactly what makes The Yard Corfu stand out even at the first glance.
Our main goal is to create a complex that fits harmoniously into the surrounding area, and the buildings will look as if they were always there. Therefore, the effort to preserve as many trees as possible is of great importance, while those that will have to be removed will be transferred for planting to other parts of the island.
Traditional Corfu’s architecture, on the outside, fresh & modern design in the inside, blended seamlessly with the olive groove, complete a perfectly balanced hotel deisgn. Furthermore, having the chance to be in direct contact with nature while being able to use modern technology, the guests will live an upgraded experience of hotel service.
Given the property’s location there will be a significant effort to ensure the sustainability of the hotel, and the use of natural sources of energy. Finally, The Yard Corfu is an all-year accommodation due to its location but also its character there is no seasonal limit.

Το πρώτο στάδιο των Υπηρεσιών μας, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει την Έρευνα & τη Μελέτη Τυπολογίας, βοήθησε τους ιδιοκτήτες ξενοδοχείων να λάβουν τις τελικές τους αποφάσεις σχετικά με την Τυπολογία του ξενοδοχείου (τύπος ιδιοκτησίας, τύποι δωματίων, χώροι, κ.λπ.) και τα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά και τις εγκαταστάσεις του, με στόχο την αύξηση την ADR του ξενοδοχείου καθώς και τις δυνατότητες πωλήσεών του από τα διάφορα τμήματα και υπηρεσίες του.

For this case, our main inspiration came from the destination itself. We created a concept that revolves around relaxation in between an old olive grove, with an authentic ambience. The Yard Corfu concept promises to its guests that they will shape their most memorable holidays in Greece.
Hotel Concept Development
Το επόμενο στάδιο ήταν η ανάπτυξη του concept του ξενοδοχείου, το οποίο περιλάμβανε την αφήγηση καθώς και όλες τις προδιαγραφές όλων των στοιχείων εμπειρίας και λειτουργίας που θα κάνουν το νέο ακίνητο να ξεχωρίζει από τον ανταγωνισμό.

Hotel Branding & Implementation
Στο τελικό στάδιο της προδιαγραφής του νέου ξενοδοχείου, δημιουργήσαμε ένα αρχικό branding καθώς και τις ενδεικτικές εφαρμογές και υλοποιήσεις του, προκειμένου να δώσουμε μια πληρέστερη εικόνα του νέου προϊόντος φιλοξενίας.
Περιγραφή ονόματος
Inspired by the concept of 'courtyard', the hotel invites its guests to spend their holidays outside, at the outdoor areas of their rooms as well as in the public areas of the accommodation, the layout of which creates an inner courtyard.
Περιγραφή Logo
For the creation of the logo, we drew inspiration from the logos that express schematically the morphology of the buildings and the environment. So we suggested that the symbol should be inspired by the buildings and the olive grove, however, presented in a completely modern and contemporary way.

Για την ολοκλήρωση του έργου, το Destsetters συνεργάζεται με τις ομάδες Αρχιτεκτονικής και Σχεδιασμού, στο πλαίσιο της λεπτομερής εφαρμογής της ιδέας στη συνολική εμπειρία, της σωστής προδιαγραφής των αναμενόμενων λειτουργικών αναγκών και των εμπορικών δυνατοτήτων του νέου ξενοδοχείου. Οι ομάδες Αρχιτεκτονικής και Σχεδιασμού επιλέγονται από τους επενδυτές/ιδιοκτήτες του έργου και συμμετέχουν ενεργά στις συνολικές αποφάσεις σχετικά με την ανάπτυξη του νέου ακινήτου.
