For high-end couples and sophisticated travelers looking for the most upgraded luxury experience with a new, authentic approach, The Noverian Elounda introduces a boutique-style resort that focuses on presenting an all-new way of living for its guests. The hotel’s experience revolves around authentic food experiences, mental and physical wellness, constant communication with nature, and the most upgraded yet personalized service — all set within a bioclimatic building and an impressive Cretan landscape, that combines a hilltop location with stunning views to the sea.
The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.

During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.

Hotel Branding & Implementation
In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.
The word Noverian is a variation of the phrase 'nova era' (new era), which, when accompanied by the location designation (Elounda), suggests a new era for, or a new version of the destination. At the same time, the ending of the word Noverian sounds reminiscent of the word riviera-rivierian, introducing the concept of the riviera into the hotel's identity, but from a new perspective, as it is a new riviera (nova riviera), which is not limited to the conventional and established cosmopolitan lifestyle by the sea, but focuses on the essential beauty of the landscape and individuals’ relationship with it. Finally, with the addition of the article, the name acquires a specific profile, that of the individual who chooses and practically adopts this new way of life, highlighting the emphasis that the accommodation places on the Individual himself and his holistic improvement.
The Noverian Elounda Retreat logo features the shape of the arch, which has both a symbolic interpretation as the threshold and welcome to the hotel and the passage into the new era, as well as a literal interpretation, with the arch appearing in individual architectural elements.
Within the arch, four designs that correspond to each of the elements of nature (water, fire, air, earth) are presented. The elements of nature indicate the hotel’s deep association with the surrounding landscape that is at the heart of the new status given to luxury, which focuses on nature and the authenticity that characterizes it.
For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with esteemed Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
