The K Nest is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplion, where an authentic local residence has been transformed into one of the top small hotels for couples in Greece. Following the building’s history, the hotel’s 8 conceptually designed Rooms & Suites offer Sea or City Views, and connect the past with the future, shaping a cozy atmosphere that keeps you in touch with the picturesque setting of the city.
The iconic Breakfast, the almost mystical Premium Coffee Making procedure, and the Authentic Private menus, will be an important part of your stay, and transform your everyday moments into a real culinary experience.
All common-use spaces, like the Dining Lounge, the Herbs & Flowers Garden and the Sea View Veranda, have been designed in a way to create privacy and coziness, which makes the whole experience simulate that of a real residence.
Combining the renowned aristocratic hospitality of the K Family that used to live in the house and the modern approach of the new owners, this is a hotel that will become your Nest in Nafplion!
Hotel Typology
The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.
Hotel Experiences
During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.
Hotel Branding & Implementation
In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.
Name Description
The basic name of the hotel is "The K Nest".
"K", is the initial letter of the aristocratic Krippa family that lived in the property for many years in the last century.
"Nest" refers to the remote, almost 'secret' location of the hotel in the city center. It is the 'nest', located around many buildings and facilities, however the visitor can be isolated in it and experience the feeling of warmth or, what is called , cocooning.
Logo Description
The inspiration for the logo comes from the hotel's building structure, which is essentially an old house in Nafplio. At the same time, as the part of the Garden is a key component in the overall specified experience, a tree has been placed to 'embrace' the house, located both inside and outside of it, while implying that the relationship between the two is absolutely narrow.
Hotel Design
For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with esteemed Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
