The below text is a full description of the under development property, giving all the details regarding the hotel's story, concept, operation, and experiences, that will provide to its guests.
The K Nest is a small boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplion City, that simulates life in a Modern Aristocratic Residence, inspired by the authentic lifestyle of the destination. Even though it is located at a secluded spot in the city centre, the hotel offers privacy & calmness. However, in just a few minutes’ walk, you will find yourself amidst the city’s vibrant life, or even at the nearby beach, where you can spend an entire day under the sun.
Paying special tribute to the building's history, the hotel features 8 conceptually designed Room & Suites with Sea or City View, that blend Neoclassical with Modern Design and shape the perfect setting for your stay in Nafplio. All the rooms feature high-tech facilities, like Smart TVs, Concierge Tablets, and Alexa-enabled Bluetooth Speakers — elements that connect the past with the future and create a signature atmosphere. At the same time, the rooms’ “upgraded mini bar” offers special kits, that will transform your Coffee or Wine tasting into a truly unique experience.
The Dining Lounge & the Sea View Veranda become the ideal place to enjoy the hotel’s Iconic Breakfast Experience and its Authentic Dining Menus, which introduce you to the Peloponnese region’s best local products & recipes. To complete your relaxation experience, the Herbs & Flowers Garden becomes the ideal place to relax and feel the strong personality of the city’s architecture, enjoy the nearby sea breeze, and experience the quality service that the people of The K Nest offer.
The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.

Hotel Concept Development
During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.
In this case we aimed to create the perfect nest for every sophisticated traveler that wants to feel like an “honored guest” in the heart of Nafplio.

Hotel Branding & Implementation
In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.
The basic name of the hotel is "The K Nest".
"K", is the initial letter of the aristocratic Krippa family that lived in the property for many years in the last century.
"Nest" refers to the remote, almost 'secret' location of the hotel in the city center. It is the 'nest', located around many buildings and facilities, however the visitor can be isolated in it and experience the feeling of warmth or, what is called , cocooning.
The inspiration for the logo comes from the hotel's building structure, which is essentially an old house in Nafplio. At the same time, as the part of the Garden is a key component in the overall specified experience, a tree has been placed to 'embrace' the house, located both inside and outside of it, while implying that the relationship between the two is absolutely narrow.
For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with the Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
