The below text is a full description of the under development property, giving all the details regarding the hotel's story, concept, operation, and experiences, that will provide to its guests.
Déum Zante is an upgraded accommodation option in the popular area of Tsilivi Zakynthos, which combines high-end facilities and laid-back luxury service with a unique experience concept around outdoor living within a Mediterranean Garden. Bringing Nature to the heart of its premises, Déum shapes a unique set of experiences that take place mostly in the exterior spaces of the hotel, thus allowing its guests to live the true meaning of Greek Summer.
The 'Outdoor Lifestyle' mentality starts at the hotel’s rooms & suites, most of which have spacious exterior spaces — balconies, verandas, terraces, or even private yards and gardens. Moreover, many room types feature upgraded private facilities, such as private pools and hot tubs, while, in addition to regular patio furniture like tables and chairs, the rooms offer even greater comfort via hammocks, hanging chairs, and day beds. The hotel’s common-use facilities also take advantage of the extended outdoor spaces, like the Verde Buffet Restaurant with an exterior sitting space within the lush gardens, the main Azzurro Pool with the comfortable loungers and cabanas, as well as the Rooftop Wellness area with the al-fresco massages, yoga, and meditation, in front of an exceptional view.
Food is an integral part of the Déum experience, dominating all aspects of a guest’s stay. From the exceptionally rich breakfast buffet to the sumptuous lunch & dinner buffets, the Verde Buffet Restaurant is the main reference point for all guests, either staying on a Bed & Breakfast, a Half Board, or an upgraded All-Inclusive basis. On the other hand, the Marrone à la carte Restaurant offers the opportunity to stay and non-staying guests to taste even more upgraded dishes of local Zakynthian & Greek cuisine. The food experience continues at the main Azzurro Pool & Pool Bar, where the guests are able to enjoy an all-day Pool Brunch menu with light snacks, drinks, and cocktails, while for those who value their privacy, even more, the dedicated In-Room Dining menu is an excellent choice. But the local food experience does not end there, since Déum makes sure to offer a selection of local products such as wines, beers, and snacks through the upgraded mini-bar in all the rooms and suites, while the weekly Sunday BBQ within the main Garden, resembles one of the most popular Greek habits!
Valuing Wellness & Rejuvenation as an integral part of any holiday trip, Déum offers an entire building of relevant facilities and services, open to staying and non-staying guests. Calma Wellness & Fitness center features a fully-equipped gym on the ground floor, indoor rooms for massages (single & couple), and beauty therapies, as well as an open-air rooftop with specified spots for massages, yoga, meditation, and even relaxation with detox drinks and beverages.
Moreover, Déum offers an additional, guests-only space for relaxation and rejuvenation, with an indoor heated pool, a hammam, and a relax zone. Of course, wellness can be found in literally every corner of Déum, since the guests have the chance to relax and unwind within the gardens, anytime they wish to do so.

The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.

Hotel Concept Development
During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.

Hotel Branding & Implementation
In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.
The hotel's name draws inspiration from Greek Mythology, according to which two Gods, Artemis and Apollo, used to roam the rich and dense forests of Zakynthos. Borrowing the word God from Latin (Deus), we make a reference to the Venetian history of the island, while the use of the word in the general plural (of the Gods), creates the meaning of the 'garden of the Gods'.
However, as we do not want the hotel to be associated with the concept of mythology, the word is used 'decoratively'. Therefore, the punctuation mark is placed in É, which makes the word unique. Basic components of the concept of the hotel are nature but also life outside - elements that are also connected with the meaning of 'divine'.
The word Déum reveals the high level of experience we promise to customers, while underlining the modern way of contact of today's guest with the concept of 'divine', which can be achieved through nature. At the same time, keeping the word Zante in the main name, helps both the organic placement of the hotel in the online searches, and the potential customers to immediately recognize the destination in which the property is located.
The logo of Déum Zante is inspired by the design of the main garden of the property and of a basic plant found in Mediterranean and Greek gardens - lavender. This particular herb, with its special color and aroma, is a reference point in a garden, while the special shape of its flower has led to its schematic imprint for use in the logo of the new accommodation.
For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with the Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
