At Mesogeo, staying becomes belonging — a lived immersion into Cretan life, where soulful rituals, local flavors, and meaningful simplicity redefine what it means to travel the Mediterranean.

Hotel Typology

The first stage of our Services, which includes the Research & the Typology Study, helped the Hotel Owners take their final decisions regarding the hotel's Typology (type of property, room types, grounds, etc) and its main Features and Facilities, aiming to increase the hotel's ADR as well as its sales potentials from its various departments and services.

Hotel Experiences

During the Hotel Concept Development process, we specified the main idea and the narrative of the new hotel, which will allow it to stand out from the competition. At the same time, we specified all the new hotel's experiences, services, and operation model, in order to help the architectural and design teams to capture all the requirements for its final design.

Hotel Branding & Implementation

In order to have a fuller image of the Concept, we have created an initial branding for the new hotel that captures its feel and essence, and which must be taken into account during the design process. At the same time, we presented a series of indicative applications and implementations of the branding, in order to convey in a more tangible way the feeling that will be exuded during the hotel's visual communication.

Name Description

1. The name Mesogeo draws its inspiration from the Mediterranean, capturing the rich cultural and natural heritage of Crete and the authenticity of the Mediterranean way of life. It is a rephrasing of the Greek word ‘Μεσόγειος’ (Mediterranean), evoking values of tradition, hospitality, and a deep connection with nature.

2. Mesogeo is not simply a destination — it conveys a philosophy of life. It is a brand that embodies the notion of experience beyond accommodation: an experience of rhythm, light, and genuine connection with place. At Mesogeo, guests are invited to discover the Mediterranean in its purest and most meaningful form.

3. Through its name, Mesogeo connects with the authenticity of Crete and the cultural diversity of the Mediterranean. Every element — from language and flavors to design and hospitality — reflects the soul of a land that is not just offered as a tourist destination, but as a living experience that lingers in memory.

Logo Description

1. The logo designed for Mesogeo clearly reflects the brand’s vision and philosophy, capturing the authenticity of the Mediterranean lifestyle and its deep connection to nature and the land of Crete. The central letter “M” serves as the foundation of the design, symbolizing balance, harmony, and wellbeing — core values of the experience offered at Mesogeo.

2. Its visual expression integrates organic forms and curves that evoke leaves and flowers, emphasizing the natural richness and vitality of the place. At the same time, the fluidity of the lines and the reference to the sea highlight the essence of the Mediterranean, while architectural elements inspired by Crete reinforce the link to local heritage. The subtle representation of a human figure within the form symbolizes the guest and the people-centered approach to hospitality, adding warmth and immediacy to the symbol.

3. The Mesogeo logo is not merely a visual element — it is a graphic embodiment of the brand’s identity. It reflects the balance between luxury and simplicity, between tradition and contemporary sensibility, establishing Mesogeo as a destination that offers a truly authentic Mediterranean way of life.

Hotel Design

For the completion of the project, Destsetters collaborates with esteemed Architectural and Design teams, in the context of the thorough application of the concept to the overall experience, the correct specification of the anticipated operational needs, and the new hotel's commercial potentials. The Architectural & Design teams are selected by the investors/project owners and play an active part in the overall decisions regarding the development of the new property.
